During a recent interview with Seventeen, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie chatted about the importance of staying grounded and helping others.

She explained, “I think it’s important that cheerleaders really get out there and be the leaders of their community because they are leaders on the field. I volunteered at Meals on Wheels, which is a place where you go and deliver healthy meals to people who are more homebound. I did that, and I had so much fun doing it, and I’m definitely planning on doing it again.”

Ready for her primetime appearance in the UK, Lady Gaga arrived at Fountain Studios in London ahead of her performance on "The X-Factor" on Sunday night (November 13).

The 25-year-old turned up clad in a dollish white lace dress as she sipped on a cup of tea while sauntering into the backstage area prior to showtime.

Busy on Twitter in the moments before tending to her television duties, Gaga wrote, "So excited to perform Marry The Night on X Factor UK tonight! Will sing my head off for England!!"

Lindsay Lohan Will Serve Almost No Time In Jail

 

Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced Lindsay Lohan to 30 days in jail due to violating the terms of her probation. But it looks more like the starlet is going to only spend mere minutes in the slammer due to overcrowding. Sheriff's Department officials told TMZ that if someone receives a misdemeanor sentence of 90 days or less, they are routinely processed and then released. One of the officials commented that Lindsay will "be out without even having to change her clothes."

Judge Sautner explained in court yesterday that the only way to shave time off Lindsay's sentence is if it's required by law. However, the Sheriff's Department claims there's a federal court order on overcrowding that "trumps everything," and that order has been interpreted to immediately release people with short jail sentences. So basically, Lindsay Lohan will be released from jail faster than the amount of time it takes you to read this entire article. I'm sure that's totally enough time to make her see the error of her ways. Let's hear it for our judicial system!

TMZ also discovered that the reason Lindsay doesn't have to report to jail until November 9th is because the judge decided to allow her time to complete her nude photo shoot for Playboy. The magazine wasn't completely satisfied with the results of the original photo shoot and requested that the actress return for a do-over. Sources say Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, spoke with Judge Sautner on the matter and explained that the Hollywood star's contract with Playboy requires the shoot to be completed this week. If it isn't, then Lindsay will be in breach of her contract. So Judge Sautner gave her one week to surrender in order to complete her Playboy obligations.

Well that makes sense. I mean, why let something silly like jail time get in the way of Lindsay's comeback career? It's good to see they aren't showing any favoritism.

Hilary Swank's PR Company Drops Her .

 

Hilary Swank faced some harsh consequences after attending a party for Chechen President (and alleged human rights violator) Ramzan Kaydrov. Obviously human rights groups were not too thrilled she rubbed elbows with that kind of company, but now a source revealed that even her PR team at 42West decided to drop her as a client because of the whole party debacle. According to Entertainment Weekly, the publicity firm parted ways with Swank over a disagreement on how best to deal with the fallout from the Chechnya party scandal, which Swank apologized for three weeks ago.

Earlier this week, Swank tried to further clean her image by firing her manager of eight years, Jason Weinberg, and two of his associates at CAA, but not her lawyer, Jeff Bernstein, who reportedly played a significant role in the Chechnya visit. Perhaps 42West didn't approve of its client's firing rampage and decided to preemptively get rid of her in fear she would be coming for them next. But now, not only does the world see she has terrible RSVP skills, but it appears as though she also lets others take the fall for her poorly judged actions.

42West has not returned calls from sources seeking clarification on the dispute, and Swank’s lawyer also has yet to comment on the matter, but that could just be because she ended up firing him too. That seems to be her go-to move nowadays, so I guess, in a way, she had all this coming.

A Teaser For Katy Perry's 'The One That Got Away'

 

Just because Katy Perry recently made music history doesn't mean she's taking any time off from her skyrocketing music career. This morning she tweeted a message to her fans, stating, “The early bird gets the teaser," along with a preview for her upcoming music video, "The One That Got Away." In the clip, Katy is shown rummaging through old photographs of a past love, wishing that they could go back and spend just one more day together. This is followed by a series of flashbacks that explain the couple's journey from overwhelming happiness to eventual separation, while a regretful voice-over lamented, "In another life, I would do things differently."

The song itself has a slower melody than the fast-paced rhythm one usually associates with a Katy Perry song, but that doesn't make it any less intriguing. In fact, I think it really help sets the tone for the message it's trying to get across, which is the idea that sometimes love just doesn't work out. This is certainly a far cry from the gummy bears and rainbows that have previous graced her videos, but it allows her the chance to connect with her fans since this deals with really relatable issues. Love is hard and occasionally painful -- sometimes it even makes us wish we could have a do-over, but that doesn't mean we're sorry it ever happened. What Katy's selling, I'm definitely buying. Kelly Rowland Confirms Beyoncé Is Having A Baby Girl

 

Hollywood better be ready to handle one more diva in this world because news just broke that Beyoncé's going to have a baby girl! According to US Weekly, Kelly Rowland accidentally revealed the baby's gender to the magazine at the Cosmopolitan Awards in London last night. How did it happen? When the Destiny's Child star was asked what she would get for the baby at the baby shower, she replied, "I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love." The singer also commented on what she thinks the baby's behavior will be like outside of the womb, saying, "I think she'll be very well behaved. Her parents will make sure of that." Notice how she used the pronouns "she" and "her?" Kelly additionally stated that she gets weekly updates from her pregnant pal, so I'd definitely say she qualifies as a reliable source -- even though it was unintentionally done.

Ever since Beyoncé broke the news of her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards, the world has been busy speculating as to whether the already famous baby would be a boy or a girl, so this is definitely exciting news. I think most people were hoping it would be a girl since Beyoncé is like the queen of all divas and it would just be too perfect to watch her little diva-in-training grow up. Let's just hope Beyoncé's not too mad at her friend for spilling the beans like that. Kelly should expect a lot of babysitting duties in her near future.

Drew Barrymore Is Hollywood's Most Overpaid Actor

 

It's no secret that some of the actors in Hollywood aren't very talented. And yet they are continually cast in movies and go on to make millions of dollars every year because executives know how certain people can guarantee a solid turnout among moviegoers. But since the characteristics of what makes someone a bad actor are so subjective, Forbes has gone ahead and informed us that the most overpaid actors in Hollywood are Drew Barrymore and Eddie Murphy.

Forbes reached this conclusion after deriving an elaborate equation that involved calculating the salaries of the top 40 stars they listed on their Celebrity 100 list, and then comparing them to film budgets and box office numbers from movies made in the past five years. For instance, Drew Barrymore earned the top spot in the ranking as the most overpaid actor, and Forbes figured this out by acknowledging that two of her movies, Everybody's Fine and Lucky You, only earned $24 million in the box office combined (and yes, you're right, she did appear in He's Just Not That Into You, but the $180 million that movie raked in couldn't be factored into the equation because Barrymore wasn't "the sole marquee name"). All this means that according to Forbes, Barrymore returns 40 cents for every $1 she is paid. And in terms of Eddie Murphy, Imagine That and Meet Dave earned $72 million combined, but cost a combined $115 million to film. This means Murphy returns $2.70 for every $1 he is paid. Forbes knew we'd find this a little confusing (because compared to Drew Barrymore earning 40 cents for studios for every $1 she is paid, it seems like Murphy is earning more money for studios than he is making for himself), and so the magazine revealed that the 10th most overpaid actor in Hollywood is Nicole Kidman, who returns $6.70 for every $1 she is paid (meaning her salary is not incredibly disproportionate to how much money her movies make). And when Kidman's ranking is considered, we learn that the more a movie makes, the less overpaid the actor is.

Other actors on the list are Will Ferrell (who brings in $3.50 for every $1 he makes), Reese Witherspoon (who brings in $3.55 for every $1 she makes), and Denzel Washington (who brings in $4.25 for every $1 he makes). And as interesting as it is to learn Drew Barrymore is the actor who's worth the least amount of money, the extreme mathematics involved in explaining this list means my search for a new party trick has no choice but to continue.

Kim Kardashian To File For Divorce From Kris Humphries

After 72 days of marriage, TMZ is reporting Kim Kardashian is expected to file for divorce from Kris Humphries this morning. Sources indicate even though the marriage was so short-lived, she will not seek an annulment and cited the reason for the filing as "irreconcilable differences." The exact date of separation is reportedly listed as today, October 31st.

Kim has hired famed divorce attorney, Laura Wasser (who has a client list that consists of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, and Angelina Jolie), to represent her in the formal proceedings. Before the wedding, both Kim and Kris signed a prenuptial agreement, so their divorce shouldn't take that long to be finalized.

We've all long suspected this marriage wouldn't last because in recent weeks, Kim and Kris have sent out signals indicating their legal binding wasn't in the greatest condition. Just last week, Kim told People Magazine that newlywed life "wasn't ideal" because she and Kris had no privacy (which is something she curiously never seemed to need before). Before that came the news that Kris wasn't even Kim's first choice for a husband, and that before she and Kris started dating she actually approached basketball player for the New York Knicks, Danilo Gallinari, and asked if he would be interested in being in a relationship with her (he (probably wisely) declined). And before that we learned Kim's agent dropped Kris as a client, AND BEFORE THAT he was spotted out and about without his wedding ring on AND BEFORE THAT that Kim was seen visiting a divorce attorney's office in New York.

Ryan Seacrest (who produces all the Kardashian shows on E!) confirmed the news on Twitter and promised that he was getting a statement from Kim in "just a few mins," which we will have as soon as it becomes available.

Regarding the reason of the split, sources close to Kardashian and Humphries suggest the two had issues figuring out where they would live once they were officially married. Kris was said to be dead set on moving back to Minnesota (where he's from) and thought Kim would eventually agree to reside in the Midwest -- but she never did. Not surprisingly, it seems Kim wants to stay in Los Angeles because it would be better for her career...and as for why an agreement wasn't reached before their wedding that cost $10 million, friends say they just decided to work it out after they were married. They add that the break-up isn't going to be very chaotic because both Kim and Kris just realized their relationship just isn't "a long-term fit."

Taylor Swift Threatens To Sue Over Nude Photo

The celebrity phone hacking scandal is over, but that doesn't mean our favorite Hollywood stars are safe from the wrath of tabloid turmoil. Taylor Swift is now the center of some very unwanted attention after a tabloid website posted an alleged nude photo of her and now the singer is threatening legal action. Taylor claims the photo in question isn't of her and demanded that the site remove the post immediately or she'll sue for trademark infringement. Her lawyers sent over a letter to the online company, saying the site contains "false pornographic images and false 'news'" about the teen singer, but a rep for the site says the blog is considering its options before deciding which course of action to take.

The post shows a topless woman who resembles Taylor under the headline "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" So it comes down to a matter of trust -- who are we more willing to believe: a tabloid or the celebrity victim? For me, this always depends on the celebrity. If this were an issue involving Lindsay Lohan, then I'd be more inclined to think the site has a valid photo, but since it's America's sweetheart we're talking about, I feel the site is simply trying to gain some extra attention...which seems to be working. But doubt the photo is genuine and I seriously doubt the integrity of this website. The singer is only 21 years old so it's revolting that the company even wanted to post the picture in the first place.

Kim Kardashian Says 'I Have Decided To End My Marriage'

Reports circulated this morning of Kim Kardashian's plans to file for divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of only 72 days. And now that the reality star has officially done so, she issued a statement confirming that her marriage is over, saying, "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best." According to the court documents filed this morning, Kim cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of of the newlyweds' split, but Kris isn't so eager to use the D word and admits he's not quite ready to throw in the towel. The NBA star made a statement of his own this afternoon, saying, "I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce." He also stated, "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work." Too bad Kim doesn't seem so willing.

Regarding the division of their assets, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement, and Kim requested the conditions of it be upheld. Additionally, she listed "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" as well as "earnings and accumulations" collected by Kim before, during and after her marriage to remain in her possession.

E! issued a statement of support to their number one client, stating, "All of us at E! are surprised and saddened by this news, and we send our support to Kim and Kris at this difficult time. The Kardashians have always been uniquely open with all aspects of their lives from joyous events to intimate moments to heartbreaking transitions. E! will continue to share the fascinating real lives and larger-than-life existence of this close-knit family." In other words, we're nowhere close to seeing the last of the Kardashian Klan. So I guess that means none of us get to live happily ever after.

Jessica Simpson Confirms Pregnancy With Picture

We've suspected it for weeks and now the news has finally been confirmed and on Halloween no less -- Jessica Simpson is pregnant! The singer announced the exciting news on JessicaSimpson.com today in a rather clever picture. While posing in a mummy costume, the Hollywood star purposefully cradles her belly, which includes the cleverly punned caption: "It's true – I'm going to be a mummy!" The fashion designer has been the subject of pregnancy buzz for weeks after photos surfaced of her shielding her midsection at the airport and later showing off a distinct baby bump in a tight fitting outfit on the streets of New York City

This will be the first child for Jessica and her fiancee Eric Johnson, who proposed to her in November 2010. In the past, she has expressed her desire to have children with her future hubby, stating, "I definitely see myself having a family with him, so that's exciting to think about." It looks like they're well on their way. At least she's no longer trying to make a profit off of her exciting (yet unsurprising) news. Congratulations to the mother-to-be!
