Emma Stone – Easy A

I’ve had a crush on Emma Stone since Superbad. She can be smoking hot and sultry yet she has strong comedic chops which make her quite a catch. This undeniably talented young woman helped make Easy A a surprise summer hit. She is funny, gorgeous and she is going to be in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot… what is not to love about this incredible talent?

Mary Elizabeth Winstead – Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

There is something truly special about Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She is terrific in horror flicks and she rocked Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof half of Grindhouse (the underrated gem Tarantino created with Robert Rodriguez). Mary is undeniably beautiful and quirky in Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It must have been her multi-colored hair and that unimaginable vulnerability she carries because every guy she dates has to fight the ones before. She stole our hearts, so much so that it will be very scary watching her battle The Thing in the upcoming remake

Mia Wasikowska – The Kids Are All Right

Mia Wasikowska was a nice surprise in Alice in Wonderland. She was exactly what you’d expect from a grown-up Alice. Yet it was her surprise summer hit that really had people talking. In The Kids Are All Right, she played a teenage girl with two mom’s searching for her sperm donor dad. She is an exciting and stunning young actress and we look forward to her taking on the role of Jane Eyre.

Greta Gerwig – Greenberg

Greta Gerwig is unbelievably charming. We loved her performance in the chilling House of the Devil, and then came the film Greenberg where she starred opposite Ben Stiller. This is a one of the most touching and profound performances of the year. Greta is simply marvelous and she will next be playing Linda to the hilariously funny Russell Brand in the remake of Arthur. We can’t wait!

Rooney Mara – The Social Network

Rooney Mara suffered a lot of backlash thanks to the critical reaction to A Nightmare on Elm Street. Yet she showed everyone that the problematic remake had nothing to do with her. With her incredible work in The Social Network she made a huge impression on Hollywood. David Fincher took notice, and cast her in the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in the American version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The punk rock role of Lisbeth is likely to push the talented Ms. Mara into a whole other stratosphere.

Olivia Wilde – Tron: Legacy

Olivia Wilde not only had a cute hair-cut in Tron: Legacy, she gives an incredibly charming performance. She makes you believe in her purity and her fierceness when necessary. Yet Olivia has clearly been a talent to be reckoned with thanks to her work on the series “House.” And now, she is settling in to movie stardom thank you very much. Let’s see how bright her star shines when she appears in Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens.

Carey Mulligan – Never Let Me Go

Carey Mulligan was perfect in An Education. She was even able to bring life to the misguided Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. And in Never Let Me Go, she again gives a wonderful performance. She somehow feels unique compared to many young actors with her utterly charming delivery and her wide-eyed innocence that manages to seem wiser than you’d expect. It will be terrific to see how she works with a director like Nicolas Winding Refn in his latest feature, Drive.

Emma Watson – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Much like her co-star Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson keeps getting better and better in the Harry Potter franchise. With the biggest yet to come in the series, it will be exciting to see where her career takes her. She will next be appearing (besides Deathly Hallows Part 2) in My Week with Marilyn opposite Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe. Ms. Watson will add that special touch of sweetness, vulnerability and kick ass that she does so well. She has become a fantastic actor thanks to her work as Hermione.

Natalie Portman – Black Swan

After this week, with all the news that has been generated regarding Natalie Portman, it’s no real surprise that she tops this list. In fact, she was one of the reasons it actually happened. While Ms. Portman has always been good, her choice to do Black Swan was one of those performances that people will never forget. And next year she is doing an array of different roles including Your Highness, No Strings Attached and Thor. Add a possible Academy Award for her work in Swan and it looks as though 2011 may be a good year for the actress.

Kate Winslet

A handful of actresses carry such a wellspring of inner grace and presence that they appear destined for celebrity from birth. Natalie Wood had it, as did Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly; many would doubtless place Kate Winslet among their ranks.

Top 5 Performances

1. Annie Hall (1977) - Annie Hall
Winning a Best Actress Oscar, the film was the best showcase for Keaton's adorably kooky "shiksa" who confounded and entranced Allen's protagonist.

2. The Godfather (1972) & The Godfather Part II (1974) - Kay Adams / Corleone
Keaton's "nice WASP girl" quality served Francis Ford Coppola well as Kay evolved from Michael Corleone's innocent girlfriend into his increasingly disillusioned and finally embittered, estranged wife.

3. Reds (1981) - Louise Bryant
Taking on the meaty role of leftist writer-artist Louise Bryant in then-beau Warren Beatty's ambitious epic. Her complex portrait of lover, heroine and feminist earned her a second Best Actress Oscar nomination and solidified her position at the top of Hollywood's A-list.

4. Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993) - Carol Lipton
Giving a winning performance as a bored upper middle-class woman who is both shocked and invigorated by her own obsessive curiosity in Woody Allen's comedy mystery.

5. Manhattan (1979) - Mary Wilkie
In her last starring role in a film opposite Woody Allen for over a decade, Keaton once again fits in well with the bittersweet comedy of this masterpiece.

Jason Sudeikis and Ashley Olsen Enjoy Each Other's Company

Ashley Olsen certainly seems to be a fan of funny guys. First she went after the adorable Justin Bartha, which sent fans into a jealous rage and now she has her eyes on SNL star, Jason Sudeikis. The pair were spotted with their arms around each other at the Tower Heist premiere afterparty, where eyewitnesses claim they got cozy and "snuggled" in a back booth. Jason was even seen putting "his arm around" the fashion designer throughout the course of the night. While this is about as exciting as an awkward teen date, all signs seem to point to the conclusion that these two are on their way to being a full-fledged couple...if they're not there already. I mean, don't let the cutesy wording fool you -- snuggling is serious stuff. Add spooning into the mix and you're looking at a long term commitment.

On a side note, am I the only one that still gets creeped out at the thought of the Olsen twins dating? They're my age, so it makes absolutely no sense, but when I look at them all I can see is the adorable Michelle Tanner from Full House who shouldn't even be thinking about boys (except for Howie just because that had to be the cutest Full House episode ever -- true fans will know what I'm talking about). Some celebrities are forever plagued with fans remembering them for a specific role and the Olsen sisters are a prime example. I just refuse to picture them all grown up (perhaps because they were substantially more popular back then than they are now). Either way -- long live Michelle Tanner!

Which Celeb Halloween Costume Is Right For You?

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year because it's the one day you get to dress up as someone entirely different from your normal self. You can be anyone or anything you want to be, which leaves the creative doors pretty wide open. Some prefer to go the scary route with ghosts, vampires, and werewolves (of the non-Twilight realm), while others choose to dress as their idols or favorite Hollywood stars. Being that we are an entertainment site, we thought it would be fun to help you determine just which celebrities are totally "in" this year and the criteria that will help you decide which famous star is the right fit for you. So if you've been procrastinating buying a costume up until this point, check out a few of our suggestions below:

This reality couple have made headline history this year with all the speculation of their anticipated nuptials. Seriously, you couldn't browse the web without running into stories about these two. Their wedding was even made into two part E! Special. So if you're a newlywed couple, just put that dress and tux back on and head out to the bars! (And here you thought you'd never get a chance to wear those outfits again).

Kaitlin Olson And Rob McElhenney Expecting Second Child

Philadelphia is going to have some major competition in the coming months because it looks like there's going to be another sunny place in the world -- and it's the household of Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney, who announced they are expecting their second child together. Olson expressed to People the joy she has over her family's expansion, saying "We're having a boy! We're so happy that Axel (13 months) will have a brother so close in age. And that I get to add another set of balls to my very, very male world." She humorously added, "We found out I was pregnant during my mom's birthday weekend in Ojai. I was instantly so proud of this baby for already knowing how to make someone else's day all about him." Olson and McElhenney married in September of 2008 after they met on the set of the FX hit, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and even though Olson's first pregnancy was written into the sixth season, the shooting schedule and timing of this...gestation period...probably won't necessitate it's own storyline in the eighth season because everything's already been shot. And so if Dee gets "fat" again, it will be because she's working on a more permanent "fatness plan." (To everyone's sure delight, no less.)

Adele Cancels All Remaining Shows To Have Throat Surgery

After announcing that she had to cancel her U.S. tour due to a bad case of laryngitis about a month ago, Adele emphasized the severity of her condition posting on her website a statement that explains she has to cancel all of her remaining shows for the rest of the year. It reads, "It is with deep regret that Adele has been forced to cancel her remaining live dates and promotional appearances in 2011. She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat, and a full recovery is expected. As a result, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments."

When the first round of cancellations was made, Adele went to great lengths on her website to apologize to her fans and explain that the only way for her to get well again was to allow it ample time to heal. She wrote, "Singing is literally my life, it's my hobbie, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this. Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I'm sure you know!... But please have faith in me that this is the only thing I can do to make sure I can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. Truly yours and yours only forever." It's pretty safe to say that her disappointment has exponentially grown in size.

The specific kind of surgery Adele is scheduled to have is not known, but Rolling Stone consulted a few surgeons who said that since her condition doesn't seem to be improving on its own, she could undergo the same kind of procedure Aerosmith's Steven Tyler had in 2006, which had him singing five months later. Dr. Steven Zeitels, director of the Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation at Massachusetts General Hospital told the magazine, "This is not something that's a deal breaker, even remotely." As refreshing as that is to hear, it's certainly a recovery time that Adele must find completely demoralizing. But hopefully she realizes we'll be on the other side of those five months with five months worth of money to spend on her.

George Clooney

Although he was working steadily in B-movies and bad TV series by his midtwenties, this magnetic actor didn't become a sex symbol and megastar until he landed the plum role of a rogue doctor on ER in 1994. Fame, film roles and the tabloids followed, yet after a string of wooden performances in high-priced flops, including The Peacemaker and Batman & Robin, it looked like his career might go the way of David Caruso's. But in the early '00s, Clooney bounced back by appearing in a wide array of roles: a dashing criminal in Ocean's Eleven, a goofy fugitive in O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and a dead serious CIA operative in 2005's Syriana, which earned him both a Golden Globe and an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor. That same year, Clooney also tried his hand behind the camera, netting Golden Globe and Academy Award nods as a director and screenwriter for Good Night, and Good Luck. Off screen, other than a brief marriage to Talia Balsam when he was young, this hunk is a notorious bachelor who has been linked with a long list of lovely ladies.
Collapse Full Bio.

Scarlett Johansson

Studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City.
Made her stage debut in 1993 at New York's Playwrights Horizons in Sophistry and her screen debut the following year in Rob Reiner's North.
Was cast by director Robert Redford in the pivotal part of Grace in The Horse Whisperer (1998) after losing the lead role in The Parent Trap to Lindsay Lohan. After Whisperer prem.

Angelina Jolie

Stunning, smart and slightly insane, this Hollywood icon is known for romancing her costars, kissing her brother at the Oscars, exotic tattoos and commendable humanitarian efforts. The daughter of Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, she first garnered attention as a high-school computer wiz in the film Hackers after which she married costar Jonny Lee Miller. Their marriage died in 1999 just when Jolie's career was heating up. She appeared in three films that year including the seriocomic Pushing Tin which introduced her to hubby No. 2, Billy Bob Thornton, and the mental-institution drama Girl, Interrupted, which earned her an Oscar. Subsequently, Jolie made a series of blockbusters (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) and bombs (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow), none of which made use of her considerable acting talents. After divorcing Thornton in 2003, Jolie devoted much of her time to working with refugees in impoverished countries and raising her adopted children. In 2005, around the time her action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith was released, rumors circulated that she and recently separated costar Brad Pitt were having an affair. Although they refused to confirm the relationship, they remained tabloid cover stars for months until Jolie finally admitted in early 2006 that she was pregnant with his child.

Naomi Watts

Born in England, raised in Australia and — after 15 years of hard work — an "overnight" Hollywood success, this actress is as brilliant as she is gorgeous. Watts began studying acting Down Under and befriended Nicole Kidman at a commercial audition when the two were just teens. In their twenties they both appeared in the boarding-school drama Flirting, but Kidman's star rose much more quickly than Watts'. Throughout the '90s, Watts languished in supporting parts that failed to showcase her incredible versatility and knack for accents. Yet, with a lot of encouragement from Kidman, she stuck it out and finally got her big break in 2001's Mulholland Dr. Originally conceived as a TV series, this offbeat chronicle of an L.A. starlet was released as a movie that featured Watts in two powerhouse parts. Audiences and critics immediately took notice of her talent, and the next year she finally hit the big time with the horror flick The Ring and made the tabloids because of her romance with hunk Heath Ledger, 10 years her junior. Watts continued her hot streak with an Oscar-nominated turn in 2003's 21 Grams and soon signed on to play an ape's best gal in the remake of King Kong. After her relationship with Ledger ended in 2004, she found new love in the arms of the more mature Liev Schreiber, her costar in The Painted Veil.

Hollywood Writers' Strike Looming

If only there was a little bit more time. Or perhaps if the difference between the two sides was not as great as $100 million. Then, maybe, there would be some hope in this rapidly deteriorating situation. The current contract between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers expires at 12:01 AM on the morning of Wednesday, May 2. And because of a media blackout imposed by representatives of both sides, the press has been left to speculate about any progress being made in the negotiations or the lack thereof. One of the major questions to be resolved is how much studios owe writers when films or TV shows are broadcast overseas or rerun domestically. The writers also want increased residuals from videocassettes and DVDs.

If the nearly 11,000 writers represented by the WGA go forward with the strike, the first victims will be daily soap operas and late night variety shows. Shortly thereafter, sit-coms and dramas will begin to fall back on re-runs. While a writers strike will prove disastrous for television on several levels, it could pale in comparison to the damage inflicted by an Actors' strike, which will be a possibility near the end of June. That is when the current contracts of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists will expire. It's shaping up to be a long, hot summer in Hollywood, and many of the people that make the town go may be looking for work.

Survivor: The Hollywood Scene for Colleen Haskell

Living for weeks on a dangerous tropical island, eating some insects and avoiding others, and wading around naked gay men, all may prove to be valuable experiences for Colleen Haskell. Colleen is the first member of the 'Survivor' series to land a major motion picture role. She was also the first to sign a major endorsement deal, with her short series of Blistex commercials that ran last year. As the adventurous cutie learns the ropes of the Hollywood Jungle, she's encountered some interesting species of animals there as well.

"Coming out of 'Survivor,' I met every weird agent this town has to offer," says Colleen.
"They were like ambulance chasers, really, just riding that 15-minute celebrity as much as they could, wanting to put people in places with no concern for their well-being - only because they get 10 percent." While this information would come as no surprise to anyone who is familiar with the industry, it was a wake-up call for Colleen, who now says that she may not pursue an acting career after all.

"Part of me is waiting to see how the movie turns out, and part of me is wondering if this is something I want to put my heart and soul into, because I don't think you can succeed in this business without being passionate about it." After 'The Animal' opens this weekend, Colleen will probably have an easier time making up her mind. If it's a big hit, it will be difficult for her to hide from the onslaught of new offers. Not even 'Survivor' could prepare her for that ordea.

"Jesus Camp" Film Shocks Both Christians and Non-Christians

The new documentary "Jesus Camp" is causing a controversy already among people of all faiths. The film, which follows a group of children attending a Pentecostal summer camp in North Dakota, was created by filmmaker Heidi Ewing.

Ewing said that she and her co-director, Rachel Grady, are able to present a neutral view of the camp because they come from two different backgrounds different from the Pentecostal camp depicted in the documentary. Ewing was raised a Catholic and Gray is Jewish. The camp, called "Kids on Fire," is directed by Pastor Becky Fischer. Grady said that Fischer welcomed them into her world to make the documentary because she hopes that it will lead people to become saved.

The film tells the stories of three children who attended the Bible camp last year in Devils Lake, North Dakota. According to the Los Angeles Times, the children are referred to in the film as Rachael, now 10, Levi, now 13, and Tory, now 11. The film shows groups of children sobbing, holding their hands aloft, and crying out to God. Assemblies of children in the film cheer whenever they are asked if they would be willing to give up their lives for Jesus. They pray over a cardboard cutout of President George W. Bush, and they sob as they plead for an end to abortion.

MGM Bankrupt: Bond 007 Put on Hold

Who doesn't enjoy watching our very own secret agent 007 AKA James Bond in action. But MGM is bankrupt, and in mounting debt. The Hollywood studio is up for sale, and hence, the 23rd Bond film will have to wait, at least until 2011. Along with the sale of the studio, the lucrative Bond franchisee will also be sold.

Michael Wilson produces the Bond flicks with Barbara Broccoli. He said, "Our timeline's a little up in the air what with the situation at MGM, so we have to be flexible. We just don't know enough about the situation to comment, but we know it's uncertain. We've hired the writers and we've been working with them but it's just too early to say anything. You know, often at this stage, I find myself saying, 'Oh, we're gonna do this and that', then six months from now you'll say, 'That isn't in the film at all - you told me it was...' "I think we're at the stage where a lot of ideas are floating around that sound very good, but whether they make the final cut, who knows?"

The last Bond film was Quantum Of Solace, and pre-production of the next film starring Daniel Craig has been put on hold. As of now, the 23rd Bond film's fate hangs in balance, and whatever happens, the earliest a new film could go on the floors is the end of 2010, with a release scheduled for 2011. So it is going to be a long wait for all the 007 fans, but Oscar-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan promises that the wait is going to be worth it.

Hollywood Madam Airs Dirty Laundry

A girl's gotta earn a living. That's the attitude of Heidi Fleiss, the infamous former Hollywood Madam. In order to keep her hand in the business world, Ms. Fleiss has opened a new kind of business in her current hometown of Pahrump, Nevada. But this business doesn't involve sex, it involves laundry. Real laundry. That's right - Heidi's new venture is none other than a laundromat - a mom and pop operation named Dirty Laundry. How appropriate.

Heidi Fleiss became the star of a media blitz when she was indicted in the late 1990's for pandering and tax evasion. The charges stemmed from her role as the infamous "Hollywood Madam", owner of a brothel that supplied $10,000 a night call girls to celebrities, politicians, and high powered businessmen. She was sentenced to 37 months in prison for tax evasion, which is a felony.

Pahrump is a one-horse desert town located in Death Valley, 80 miles outside Las Vegas. It's a far cry from L.A.'s hard and fast lifestyle but Heidi wants to call it home. So why open a laundromat when your specialty is dirty laundry of another kind?

"Something made me do a laundromat," Fleiss revealed to FOXNews.com. "I need to work, I love to work and someone said a laundromat, so a laundromat it is."

Some people are surprised at Heidi's transition from her previous life, commenting that the new business is a step down for the famed Madam. "I don't perceive any work being menial," Fleiss said.

So far, her hard work seems to have paid off. Dirty Laundry, located in the Pahrump Valley Junction Shopping Center, opened its doors for the first time on Sunday. In attendance were a crowd of well-wishers, amused onlookers and potential customers toting loads of dirty clothes. Fleiss, always the consummate hostess, was also in attendance, serving cake and beverages.

"It's not the biggest laundromat but I thought the best location," Fleiss stated in a telephone interview.

Although the name might conjure up dirty laundry of another sort, Fleiss insists that it's all legitimate.

"Call it what it is, right?" she said about her state-of-the-art facility. "Everything is brand new -- new machines, water softener -- and I'm going to cost less than the other laundromats."

As a new business owner, Fleiss is excited about the venture. She is quick to point out the advantages of being located at the town's only mall. In addition, Dirty Laundry will employ an on-duty attendant and the cost for dropping off laundry will be 65 cents per pound, which is much cheaper than similar laundromats in Las Vegas.

Fleiss' original reason for moving to Pahrump wasn't to open Dirty Laundry, however. Her other plans, which are still in the works, include installing commercial windmills on her own property as well as opening a business called Heidi's Stud Farm, the country's first legal brothel serving only female customers. The plans for opening the castle-like structure are grand.

Unfortunately for Heidi, the plans for the "Farm" have come across some local opposition and have hit some legal snags. In addition, detractors suggest that clients won't make the hour and a half drive to get what they can already get in Vegas. But Heidi Fleiss will not be deterred. Expecting to be up and running in the next 8 months, Fleiss ensures that she will create an exotic experience for her clientele, advertising the perfect scenario for bachelorette parties or for women wanting an uncomplicated, safe rendezvous. "I have heard from very wealthy, very beautiful women who say they'll be first in line," Fleiss said.

History Is Made As Hollywood Unites for a Star Studded Telethon

Friday night's two-hour telethon, America: A Tribute to Heroes, raised in excess of $110 million dollars for the United Way's September 11th fund. The telethon was shown on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, UPN, the WB, E!, PAX, PBS, BET, Comedy Central, Court TV, TNT, TNN, TVLand, USA, VH1, Discovery, F/X, Fox Family, Hallmark, HBO, MTV, SciFi, Lifetime, Showtime, The Learning Channel, Telemundo, Univision and Galavision. The telethon was also heard on more than 8,000 radio stations and was also on the Web via Yahoo! The telecast was shown in 156 countries. An estimated 89 million viewers and listeners tuned in.

Between heartfelt performances by superstars such as Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Paul Simon and Billy Joel, many stars spoke of the fallen heroes of September 11th. Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Tom Cruise, among others, told of the lives lost in the tragedy. They told of the courage of the many who stayed behind to help others and ultimately lost their lives, of those who tried to thwart their attackers and of the many firefighters and policeman who died as heroes in the line of duty.

The Celebrity Phone Bank included Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Meg Ryan, Andy Garcia, Sally Field, Adam Sandler, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Cindy Crawford, Benicio Del Toro, Al Pacino, Michael Keaton, Salma Hayek, Whoopi Goldberg, Reba McEntire, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Penelope Cruz, Tom Cruise, John Cusack, Halle Berry, Sylvester Stallone, Ben Stiller, Mark Wahlberg, James Woods and Robin Williams. The mood was one of somber remembrance and it was clear that the celebrities were determined to motivate Americans to donate whatever they could. Stars were asked to arrive sans entourage and they appeared on a dark stage lit with candles. The telethon was commercial free and showed taped segments of the victims and the victims family members. The telethon ended with Willie Nelson and the other celebrities singing America, the Beautiful. Is it ever.

Gene Hackman Brawls in Hollywood

Hackman was cruising the streets of West Hollywood when he rear-ended a Volvo station wagon that allegedly cut him off. The two cars pulled off to the side to exchange insurance information when the man driving the Volvo became extremely agitated, according to a bystander. The man, whose name was not released, was yelling in the actor’s face. Hackman remained calm until the man shoved the actor in the chest. At that point, Hackman punched him.

Hackman, an ex-Marine, got in a few good blows before being wrestled to the ground by the other driver. At that point a passer-by stopped to offer minor first aid assistance and bandages. Police arrived at the scene and kept the drivers separated. There was no visible damage to either car and neither party wished to press charges. No arrests were made and no police report was filed. Both drivers suffered minor scrapes and bruises. Hackman’s publicist, Dick Guttman, is quoted as saying, "He (Hackman) is a very gentle guy, but anyone can be provoked."

When not engaging in fisticuffs, Hackman, who is 71, is an avid auto racer, pilot and painter. He is also starring in a new movie, Heist, directed by David Mamet, which opens in theaters on November 9th

Heidi Fleiss' New Venture

Fleiss spent 20 months in prison for money laundering, tax evasion and attempted pandering. She was accused at trial of running a high-priced prostitution ring. But her newest venture in the lingerie business is completely legit. Fleiss said of her new shop, "We're not open yet, but I expect to be after the New Year. We're still doing some work on the interior, although I am willing to let serious buyers in to shop before the official opening." Fleiss' new shop, named "Hollywood Madam" will offer sexy lingerie including personalized panties emblazoned with "Heidi's No. 1 Girl."

The unique boutique has a dressing room that is equipped with a Web camera. Customers who agree to allow themselves to be filmed while in the dressing room will get a discount on all merchandise. Those who consent to being filmed will appear on Heidi's pay-per-view Internet site. Fleiss credit's her brother for the idea behind the Web cam. Fleiss said, "You can get 20 to 30 percent off just by using the dressing room. We're even remodeling its interior to make it look like a bordello." Fleiss promises that the store will be a huge success and there is very little doubt that she is right.

It seems Fleiss has a head for business and she has always known that sex sells. After her turn as a Hollywood madam, why stray too far from what you know? Fleiss is destined for success with her swanky boutique opening up in a town known for its obsession with sex. Even though Fleiss has a rep for getting customers to take off their clothes, it seems that she may have found a way to make customers want to put on her clothes.

FX Bags the Official Rights to the '2012' Explosion

The Day After Tomorrow), 2012 is the expected apocalypse movie that has it all - story line, special effects, fantastic casting and the entire works. With the movie already grossing over USD 225 million over the opening weekend, FX has wasted no time and acquired its rights for a cable premiere. This much-awaited event is likely to take place in the beginning of the year 2012, and rightly so too.

Along with 2012, FX has also gotten its hands on the other blockbuster horror comedy of the year, 'Zombieland'. This movie is scheduled for being aired in the latter half of 2010. Both the movies will earn Sony the standard license rate of 12% of domestic box office collections. Considering that it is expected that '2012' will cross USD 200 million in the domestic market and 'Zombieland' has grossed about USD 73 million, their price tags could range anywhere around USD 24 million and USD 9 million respectively.

FX has generated a reputation of being an aggressive buyer of Hollywood blockbusters in the recent times. In fact, they already have in their kitty, movies like 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine', 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' and 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'. They also hold the cable rights to 'Star Trek', 'Night at the Museum', 'Monsters vs. Aliens', etc. FX has also reaped heavy profits from such big buys, for almost all special effect movies and have done well on it.

Films for Kids

Many experts on child psychology and the media agree that children today are exposed to an increasing array of films that feature violent, sexual, or profane content; furthermore, they urge parents to designate what kind of films their kids see. Psychiatrist Arthur Taussig has created a site based on his book, which he describes as "the essential reference for parental survival in the age of media saturation." Here parents can research reviews of 1,000 films and determine for themselves whether a particular one is suitable for children. At another site, lists of the best children's films on the market appeal to parents who want to foster positive values that will equip children to become both good citizens and discerning viewers.

Often parents wish to assess the content of a film currently in release before taking their kids to the theater. In this vein, some parent-oriented websites present a detailed summary of the chosen film, including any references to nudity, vice, and bad language. Famous Actresses List

Who can forget Vivian Ward, played by Julia Roberts in the 1990 romantic flick, Pretty Woman? Most of you might remember the very famous dialog;
Edward: Vivian, what is it you want? What do you see happening between us?

Vivian: I don't know. When I was a little girl, my mama used to lock me in the attic when I was bad, which was pretty often. And I would... I would pretend I was a princess, trapped in the tower by a wicked queen. And then suddenly, this knight, on a white horse, with these colors flying, would come charging up and draw his sword... and I would wave, and he would climb up the tower, and rescue me. But never in all the time... that I had this dream... did the knight say to me, "Come on, baby, I'll put you up in a great condo."

Like Julia Roberts there are many other famous actresses which are well-known for their own unique styles and characters in their movies. Given below is a famous actresses list which are not only well-known in their own countries but globally recognized. More on top actresses of the 1980s.

Porn Industry Begins Selling Adult Films Online

For years there has been lots of buzz in Hollywood about proposed plans to let consumers buy movies online, burn them onto DVDs, and watch them whenever they want to on their own television just as though they had purchased them at a store. Most of the larger studios have recently begun selling films over the Internet, and buyers can burn a backup DVD, but the movies can be played only on a computer, not a DVD player. But now the porn industry has trumped that initiative by selling their movies online and letting people watch them on television.

Hollywood typically makes more money from the DVD sales of movies than they do in movie theaters. For that reason, studios are reluctant to cause friction with large retailers such as Blockbuster and Wal-Mart, so they are hesitant to sell DVD downloads directly to consumers, cutting out the middle man. But the adult film industry doesn’t have the same worries, because most of their sales are done in specialty stores and catalogs rather than large chain retailers. "We don’t have to divvy up the pie," says Bill Asher, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, the largest distributor of adult entertainment. "We sell in smaller stores, mainstream chains, but no one dominant component where we’re going to get that phone call."

Adult film companies actually pioneered the home video market years before Hollywood began offering movies on video. Even though Hollywood studios are still trying to figure out how they can let consumers buy DVDs online and burn them to watch on television, the porn industry is again paving the way for a new technology. "Leave it to the porn industry once again to take the lead on this stuff," said Michael Greeson, founder of a consumer electronics think tank in Plano, Texas. "The rest of Hollywood stands back and watches and lets the pornography industry work out all the bugs."

Mainstream studios are still trying to figure out the best way for them to solve the problems faced by offering downloadable DVDS for consumers to burn to discs that can be played on a DVD player. Both Warner Bros. and Universal Studios have instituted hybrid programs in other countries where consumers who buy movies online and download them can also receive a DVD copy in the mail. The ultimate goal of the studios, analysts say, is for major movies and TV shows to be sent through the Internet directly to television sets, bypassing DVDs and DVD players altogether.

What happened to Hollywood?

What has happened to Hollywood, these days you can spend more time watching commercials (and get more entertainment out of them) then you can spending the time and money watching the movie that is supposed to come after those commercials…The funny thing is you wait and wait for the great movie, the entertainment of the day to start and when it does, it is so disappointing that many people would have more fun walking their dog then torturing themselves by sitting throughout the rest of the movie.

So what has happened to Hollywood? What happened to the movies like Braveheart and Last of the Mohicans? Where are the Casablancas and the Titanics that Hollywood keeps on promising us?!

Movies these days are just plain trash….really the only way you can trust a movie enough to even go watch it is if it has a major actors in it. Why is that? Because, quite frankly, the young actors that we find in Hollywood these days have such disgusting lifestyles and such a lack of talent that the movies that they make are just not worth watching….Who wants to watch a person that goes to jail every couple of months or somebody that is in drug rehab twice a year?

Movies have taken a turn for the worse and they probably won’t get any better in the future. There have been many theories as to why movies have reached the state that they are in…..some people blame society others money…..the actors that can really act are asking too much money for the movies they make, so much that the studios can not even hire them, but come on, movie studios make millions of dollars on their movies. Well, they used to but now there just isn’t that much coming in because people aren’t interested in seeing the movies they have to offer.
So, the next question, why are people not watching the movies? That is easy, they stink! Every movie that comes out is just like every other one. They all have the same effects; they all have the same explosions and plots. Why can nobody make an original movie? If one movie comes out that has something unique in the making of it then that is all that you are going to see in the next movies that are going to be released in the following years.

All these movies were inspired either from the lives of the men who fought in the war or those who witnessed it. Marilyn Monroe Born as Norma Jean Baker, what list of blonde actresses would be complete without a mention of Marilyn Monroe? After making it through a disturbed childhood, Marilyn Monroe went on to become one of the most famous movie stars of all time, even outranking Jean Harlow, her role model through her growing years. Although she featured in several films that were box office successes, she is probably best remembered in the movie Bus Stop.

You know, Marilyn Monroe probably knew what she was talking about when she starred in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Although they've spawned an entire genre of humor modeled on their supposed lack of intellect, blondes never really lacked for attention, did they? Some of the most beautiful women to ever grace the silver screen were and are blonde, from the iconic heroines of yesteryear, to the more recent additions, and many are renowned not just for their beauty but their acting prowess as well. As hair colors change, as frequently as wardrobes nowadays, it may be difficult to pin down the true blue from the blonde-from-a-bottle variety, but for the most part, the following are some famous blonde actresses. Take a look at the list below.
List of Blonde Actresses;

It's difficult to put together a comprehensive list of blonde actresses with any semblance of order, so the following is in random order. Although recent times have their fair share and more of blondes of the bombshell variety, the following 5 blonde actresses, set hearts aflame, with their timeless beauty. Take a look.

During her career she won three Oscars, two Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award for Best Actress.

Some Hollywoo (and Rich) Success d Teens a Smashing

Child and teen stars are nothing new in Hollywood, and they're popular with producers because, generally speaking, it costs less to obtain their services than those of their adult counterparts. That said, there are a handful of teen stars that are drawing top dollar at the b

Hollywood Goes Nuts Over Walrus Penis

It’s a weird thing to want to hang in your living room, but some collectors don’t see it that way. The latest "must have" item on the auction block at the I.M. Chait Gallery in Beverly Hills is a 4 ½ foot long mummified walrus penis. The bone, covered with weathered skin and dried muscle tissue, came from a species of walrus that has been extinct for 12,000 years.

Scientists and educators aren’t the only ones who will meet the starting bid of $16,000. Business gurus and A-list Hollywood celebs are expected to place bids on lot #127, only a part of the natural history auction at Chait. Also on the auction block are a pair of mating 40 million-year-old insects, estimated at $700 - $900; a complete, fully mounted, 20-foot-long fossil skeleton of an aquatic dinosaur from the Cretaceous period called a Mososaurus, estimated value of $100,000 - $140,000; a Mammoth tusk from the Pleistocene period, estimated value of $14,000 - $18,000; and a 1.94 gram piece of the Moon, estimated value of $5,500 to $6,500. Also among the 200-plus lots are meteorites, dinosauria, archeological artifacts, and gems and minerals.

This is a fabulous auction," said Josh Chait, Director of Operations at the I.M. Chait Gallery. "We are privileged to have such an interesting and comprehensive collection of amazing, one-of-kind natural history finds."

One concern of scientists is that private entities who collect such rare archaeological finds are prone to keep them under lock and key, whether it’s in a private museum or at their homes. In effect, the fossil or archaeological remnant is not available for public viewing or for research purposes. Despite the formerly academic practice, the fossil collecting bug has bitten interior designers and A-list celebs like Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Nicholas Cage. However, you don’t have to be a millionaire to show off your historical savvy. There are artifacts that nearly anyone can afford and many designers are interested in negotiating deals on items for their clients’ homes.

Interesting Facts about Hollywood

Hollywood is one of the districts of Los Angeles, California. It is identified as one of the most happening places in world. Hollywood is the metonym for the motion picture industry of the United States. The nickname of the Hollywood is "Tinseltown". In February 2006, Goldberg and Koretz, the Assembly members introduced a bill to specify the geographical boundaries of Hollywood. Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the City Council of LA supported this bill and on August 28,2006, this bill was approved by the Governor of California.

The official borders of Hollywood are Beverly Hills on the east, Mulholland Drive, Laurel Canyon, Barham Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard on the south, Melrose Avenue on the north, Hyperion Avenue and the Golden State Freeway on the west. Chamber of Commerce, Hollywood, appointed an official who serves as "Honorary Mayor of Hollywood".

Historical Facts about Hollywood

In 1906, a streetcar line was constructed in the Hollywood district down the middle of "Sandy Road". This lane was known as the "Rose City Line". The establishment of the streetcar route facilitated the growth of the suburb of Hollywood.

In 1923, Harry Chandler, a real estate agent and investor built the famous Hollywood Sign to advertise the area "Hollywoodland". The total expense for this advertisement was $21,000. Initially, it was built to last only for eighteen months. However, as of today, the Hollywood Sign has lasted for eighty years.

In 1939, four thousand twenty-watt bulbs were put to illuminate the signboard and a caretaker was appointed to maintain the same. The part of land, which included the "Hollywood" sign, was sold to the city of LA.

In 1949, the alphabets "L, A, N & D" were removed. The board has read "HOLLYWOOD" ever since 1949.

The alphabets of the signboard began to fall down. To restore the same, in 1978 an auction of the alphabets was held by Hugh Hefner, founder of the magazine "Playboy". This auction was held for a period of three months. Alice Cooper, American rock singer, sponsored the alphabet "O". Gene Autry and Paul Williams sponsored the alphabets "L" and "W" respectively.

In 1995, a trust known as "Hollywood Sign Trust" was set up to maintain the Hollywood sign.

Hollywood’s Newest Ticket to Box Office Gold: Zombies

Movie audiences have had a soft spot in their hearts for zombie movies ever since Bela Lugosi’s mad scientists turned hapless honeymooners into the living dead in 1932’s "White Zombie," the first zombie movie ever made. In the early days of zombie movies the villains were not much more than pallid, lumpy, lurching sacks of flesh that were actually pretty easy to get away from. But still there were those pesky boulders people would stumble over, giving the living dead time to stagger over and grab a bite.

For the most part, the first few decades of zombie films weren’t all that frightening, certainly not by today’s standards. And when Ed Wood’s unintentionally hilarious "Plan 9 from Outer Space" hit theaters in 1959, with aliens attacking Earth in hopes of creating a zombie army made from a few dead humans, some thought it sounded the death knell for zombie movies for once and for all. Then came "Night of the Living Dead." Many movie buffs consider this George Romero classic to be the real founding film of the zombie genre, with radiation from outerspace turning the dead into undead who walk the earth craving human flesh. Suddenly zombies were frightening again.

For most of the second half of the 20th century, the most popular movie foils were found in outer space. Since "The Day the Earth Stood Still" all the way through "Aliens" in the ‘80s and "Independence Day" in the ‘90s, the favorite villain to frighten the bejeepers out of movie audiences was the space alien. But since the horrors of 9/11, the American public for some reason has become more enamored of being frightened by the walking dead than by apocalyptic alien invasions. Mike Browne, editor of zombiefreak.com, has a perfect explanation for why movie audiences embrace fictional horror when surrounded by real-life horror: "It kind of explains away that fear that someone is completely snuffed out."

According to The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead by Max Brooks, when a human becomes a zombie, "the brain remains live, but dormant…Once mutation is complete, this new organ reanimates the body into a form that bears little resemblance (psychologically speaking) to the original corpse." So although space aliens can be scary, the reason zombies will always trump little green men in the terror department is that despite the fact that humans are alive and zombies aren’t, they share a physical connection that’s undeniable. "Zombie movies play to one of mankind’s greatest fears: what happens to you after your death," Browne says. "It’s easier to cope with something when you’re surrounded by it in its entertainment form."

Since that terrible day in 2001 when 3,000 people were killed in New York and Washington, zombie movies have steadily increased in popularity and box-office success. Nearly half of the 10 top-grossing zombie movies of all time have been released in the last five years, starting with 2004’s "Dawn of the Dead." In the meantime, space aliens, such as those in M. Night Shyamalan’s "Signs" and even "War of the Worlds,"" have played second fiddle to the graphic terror of frightfests such as "28 Days Later." In that 2003 box-office smash by director Danny Boyle, a coma patient wakes up to a world driven mad by zombies, but the horror has a new dimension to it—the zombies are terrifyingly fast.

Peter Dendle, author of The Zombie Movie Encyclopedia, couldn’t be more excited that zombies are enjoying a new resurgence in popularity. In Dendle’s opinion, the appeal of a zombie movie starts with the basic idea of what a zombie is. "A zombie has a timeless simplicity to it," he says. "It’s just a body." Dendle thinks that "28 Days Later" was such a success because it made the zombies so…well, human. "It made the zombie movie surgically precise," he says. "It returns what Romero had, which was vision…it doesn’t undercut its story with humor."

The Drain of Original Thought In Hollywood

Every year around the same time we sit back and start to watch as the film industry ramps up its biggest summer offerings, throwing over budget sequel after over budget sequel at us in an attempt to snag all our hard-earned dollars (in a single movie if possible). It's a sequence that begs the question - what exactly are we doing?

I don't want to start complaining and tearing apart the film industry yet one more time. I've done that a lot of late. No, what I'm thinking is that the industry born of its own self-aware, glitzy appeal to the masses has forgotten that film is technically, on a basic level, considered art. And art is not something entirely devoted to making money. Unfortunately, something else has occurred in recent years that makes it nearly impossible for art to garner the respect and admiration it once did - the blight that is technology.

When society evolved in the 19th century, so did everything humanity knew as art and culture. Instead of the commonly held belief that we were not good enough to enjoy the fruits of artistic endeavors as common folk, mass production and printing created pop culture and everyone was allowed to sit and enjoy the next great Dickens or Austen novel.

Not that I want to compare Dickens or Austen to Fantastic Four 2. The point is that when people everywhere were given a chance to access the art of the day, the division between high and low are grew much larger than it had ever been. Instead of the shallow gap between classical music and popular literature, there was the stark contrast of painted galleries and radio programs, or James Joyce and Raymond Chandler.

When technology makes it easy to reach out and share your work with everyone, the prospect of making vast sums of money arises as well. The problem with money though is that most people are willing to sell every whim of their artistic integrity for the right payday.

By my calculations, Hollywood finished selling off its artistic integrity in the 1950s and has been flirting with the prospect of bringing it back on a part-time basis ever since. When the blockbuster season was minted in the 1970s, at least half of the year was thrown over to the cheesy Hollywood fluff that we're all witness to today. The biggest problem with that fluff is that it makes for great sequels and as 2007 is demonstrating, there are no longer any new ideas to be had.

Instead, Hollywood bundles up all the films that manage to slip through the radar and actually be quite good and pushes them into the same two or three months of limited release at the end of the year so as to look good come Oscar season. For anyone living outside New York and Los Angeles it's nearly impossible to find these films and when they do finally spread and appear in other theaters, the deadest months of the year are upon us and no one goes to see them.

I'm not breaking new ground by stating that Hollywood is over-commercialized. It's not a secret, and as long as we keep frequenting the sequels and remakes and doling out $151 million in three days to see the third (and most mediocre) Spiderman film, they'll keep making them. It's just how big business works.

No, my point is not that Hollywood sucks, but that Hollywood seemingly cannot make the changes it wants to anymore. People are content with the formula that they've been cast into and despite some actually interesting moves in Tinseltown of late, the films that people see are still quite awful. As with any war, there has been something of an influx of intelligent political films in recent years, all of them Oscar worthy, and all them largely ignored at the box office. There have been numerous biopics and stories of woes and horrible historical happenings in Africa, which despite their amazing breadth and story telling strength are being ignored. There has been an influx of incredibly well made film from the Spanish-speaking world and Europe, all of it largely ignored.

Instead, a movie like Wildhogs is able to take the top spot at the box office (with a substantial draw) for two weeks in a row. It's not entirely the fault of corporate executives when people just plain have bad taste. And so, the summer movie season is essentially the equivalent of the Louver for those people, getting occasionally well written, returns from familiar characters and interesting new storylines.

Recycling characters that were massively successful in the past (regardless of how well written they were) is incredibly successful because there is immediate recognition and appeal. Now, if only Hollywood would throw at least one or two new ideas in our way. Even during the years when Batman Forever and Wild Wild West were being touted as major summertime releases, there were occasionally new, fresh ideas like Jurassic Park or Independence Day. Those films are not necessarily any more intelligent, but they're surely more unique and less tired. We've seen what happens when a franchise is milked too far, as with Spiderman or the early Batmans. A little bit of careful writing wouldn't hurt either.

Melissa Joan Hart Sued By Former Manager for Commissions

Melissa Joan Hart’s former talent manager has sued the actress for allegedly refusing to pay commissions on money she earned for the hit ABC Family series Melissa & Joey.

The complaint, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court by Kieran Maguire, begins with what might be the best lawsuit line of the year: “Melissa Joan Hart has no heart.” Ouch. We've reached out to Hart's reps for comment.

Maguire says Hart hired him in August 2006 when her career was “dwindling” and agreed orally to pay him the standard 10 percent commission on earnings. He says he represented her for five years, including during the time she got the series Melissa & Joey off the ground, until he was fired in March 2011. Hart is now allegedly refusing to pay commissions to Maguire beyond those from the first year of the show.

“This case is one more incident of an actress who seeks to take advantage of, mistreat and thumb her nose at those in her employ — in this instance the person who rescued her career as it was plummeting towards obscurity,” states the suit, a copy of which was obtained by THR.

All's Faire in Love: Film Review

The "Pan Am" star plays a woman who escapes from Wall Street by working at a Renaissance Faire in this Scott Marshall-directed rom-com.

NEW YORK — An astonishingly bad comedy that hardly merits booking on bottom-tier cable, Scott Marshall's All's Faire in Love sneaks into theaters a couple of years after production, presumably in hopes of grabbing a few quick bucks from star Christina Ricci's Pan Am exposure. One imagines Ricci's agents are praying for its quick disappearance. Their prayers will be answered.

We meet Ricci's Kate in a job interview that ends when, inexplicably, she strips out of her business suit and changes into a flowered dress. It seems she's always dreamed of working at a Renaissance Faire, and the capitalist intensity of a Wall Street interview has finally pushed her toward her destiny.

At the Faire she meets Will (Owen Benjamin), a college jock whose English Lit professor (Cedric the Entertainer) has offered to give him credit for a class he never attended if he'll submit to a summer of mock-peasantry. Viewers who find that premise tough to swallow should head for the exit before Will meets his tormentor, Rank (a desperately unfunny Chris Wylde), and Rank's three sidekicks -- a French dwarf, a cartoonish Chinaman and a Mexican oaf named Jamón.
